The Kingfisher Pre-School is a registered charity run by a committee of parents whose children attend the pre-school. We take children from the age of 2 until they are ready to move into their preferred school as a rising 5 year old.
Kingfisher Pre-School positively encourages all parents to become involved in their child’s pre-school education. We pride ourselves as being a very sociable and friendly group, not just for the children, but the parents too.
We actively fundraise allowing us to regularly purchase new equipment and further train staff.
Our Aims
At Kingfisher, we are firmly committed to the principle of learning through play. We earned a 'Good' rating for our nursery eduction in our recent Ofsted report.
Our well trained, dedicated staff plan an engaging and challenging range of activities to interest and develop each individual child. Our aim is for each child to leave the preschool happy, confident and with the skills to embrace all the challenges of primary eduction.
