February
Holiday Club - Thursday 21st February 2008 - Kingfisher Pre-School
This fun packed afternoon is organized by our fundraising team and is very popular. For those of you who have never been before, it is a drop-in session for parents/carers with children aged 2 - 7 (siblings welcome). There are lots of activities for the children including playdough, toys, dressing up etc, as well as face painting. Entrance is £3 per family

World Book Day -Thursday 6th March 2008
All the children have been asked to bring in their favorite books to discuss at the pre-school. Each child receives a £1 token, redeemable at various places.
Easter Extravaganza Raffle - Thursday 20th March 2008
We have had an overwhelming response from local companies who have donated a prize for our Easter Raffle. This will be drawn at the end of term party on Thursday 20th March 2008. A big thank you to the following companies who have kindly donated prizes this year:-

Holiday Club - Thursday 17th April 1.30pm-3.30pm at Kingfisher
Again this is a 1-3 hour drop in session where parents/carers can bring the children to enjoy, drawing, facepainting, playdough and dressing up.
Sadly we will be saying goodbye to our fantastic Holiday Club Team - Alison, Debbie and Kim as their children are going to Big School in September. It goes without saying how much everyone at Kingfisher are so grateful for their support over the years - Thank You!

May Fayre - In the Park - Date TBC
Kingfisher have a stall and the parents help support this day. Cakes and biscuits are sold along with lots of games to play and face painting. Thanks to donations from the parents we also have a bottle tombola which has been huge success in the past.

Tea Towels
The children really enjoy drawing their self-portrait which gets transferred onto a tea towel showing the whole class.
August
Holiday Club Dates and Venue TBC
The pre-school usually run 2 holiday clubs due to the length of the holidays. Again this is a 1-3 hour drop in session where parents/carers can bring the children to enjoy, drawing, face painting, playdough and dressing up.
September
Sponsored Bounce - The children ask family and friends to sponsor them for a set time of bouncing, and then the event takes place over several days during school hours.
October
Half Term Holiday Club - Date and Venue TBC
1-3 hour drop in session where children can enjoy face painting, drawing, playdough, dressing up. The parents/carers can enjoy the home baked cakes donated by parents along with light refreshments.
November
Photographer - Calendar
Kingfisher parents will have the opportunity to have their children photographed with the option to buy calendars in time for Christmas.
December
Late Nite Shopping Christmas Stall - Date TBC
When Marlow high street closes for the evening, the preschool have a stall and sell mistletoe, festive cake. There is also tombola with bottles and gifts all generously donated by parents and we welcome everyone's support.
