Happy New Year
Please remember that we would like parents to bring in their own fruit snacks from January onwards. This should be in the form of chopped fruit in a labelled and lidded plastic container or a whole banana clearly labelled with the child's name. All fruit should be put on the trolley by the sign-in desk on arrival.
Examples of fruit:
Chopped up grapes, carrot, cucumber (please ensure that this is chopped so as not to cause a choking hazard)
Orange (chopped) or satsuma segments
Chopped up apple or pear (with a little squeeze of lemon to stop going brown)
Raisins or sultanas
Any other dried fruit but chopped
Chopped strawberries
Blueberries
Whole banana
The above are guidelines, if you have any queries about what else you might provide then please talk to the staff.
Please do not provide anything other than fruit as a snack as we have to be careful about food allergies. We will provide breadsticks or ricecakes. We will also provide milk and water as drinks so you do not need to provide a drink for your child.
There will be fruit brought each week so that your child will have a snack if you forget to bring one in. No charge will be made unless this is a regular occurance.
